I am not the first European tourist to visit this region. The first was Kutisiaz who came to this region from Iran via Baluchistan, I came straight to Islamabad by ship. Kutisiaz came long before Alexander the Great in the fifth century BC, I was the leader of the procession of Pahlwan Azam Gandapur. Abad came a little before the retreat. Katsiaz had to pass through the deserts of Balochistan and he wrote in his memoirs that crocodiles ruled the Indus River, elephants and monkeys lived around here, parrots spoke the Indian language, he saw cobras, snakes and Big banyan trees are also mentioned. Ctesias wrote that a dwarf race of humans is seen moving in this region. After 2500 years the physical stature has decreased but dwarfs of character are still the majority. Katsiyas wrote that there is also a race of humans living here who do not speak in a straight language but mumble like animals. Two and a half thousand years have passed, but there is still a generation that abuses, abuses, comes down to fight, civilization and human consciousness have not spoiled anything of this generation. Ktesias also prominently mentions another human race with ears so large that she sleeps on them at night with these ears tucked under her. After the passage of more than two thousand years, such big ears are not seen anywhere, but many ears are filled with lead, especially the people in power and the powerful classes, the voice of the common people does not reach at all. Now these ears have become small but they have become deaf. Ctesias also mentions another human race according to which the thighs of this human race were joined together and they could not speak but had to vomit every evening. I, an old European, don’t see people with their thighs tied anymore, but the habit of vomiting is still very common here.
One of the world’s earliest historians, Herodotus (5th century BC) and Ctesias both agree that the region was inhabited by a bird called the Samirgh or Anka, which is the guardian of gold mines. GRIFFIN I, the old European, did not see anywhere, but huge human guards of gold and wealth vaults are found in every city. People’s likes and dislikes are not necessary, even if you are not popular, but if the defenders like you, the power will immediately sit on your head, as if in 2500 years, Samirgh has become very wealthy. They also have the golden throne.
In the spring of 326 BC, Alexander the Great reached Taxila. Historian Strabo has stated that Alexander the Great met the naked philosophers, the Brahmins, and had a long conversation between them. Used to be the king’s adviser and minister, Chanakya, the greatest minister of Ashoka’s reign, also belonged to the same region, and following his advice, he laid a strong foundation for the Maurya empire and defeated the Nanda dynasty. After two and a half thousand years, I am an old European living in Islamabad, not far from Taxila. Today, naked Brahmans and great philosophers are nowhere to be seen.
Two historical aspects of Chanakya are well-known, one is his far-sighted wisdom and the other is his artifice. In two and a half thousand years, the decay has come so much that in Islamabad only Chankys are seen everywhere, but these are not far-sighted Chankys but clever Chankys. Aristotle said, “The more I learn, the more I know that I know nothing,” but the Chankis of Islamabad have a “deep” and “complete” knowledge of everything but themselves. Everyone’s knowledge seems to be superficial. Some Chanakya thinks of himself as a foreign affairs expert like Henry Kissinger, though he doesn’t know anything like me. His knowledge is limited to few books. In today’s Islamabadi culture, everyone declares himself to be knowledgeable and others to be ignorant. An old European like me has only one answer to these learned scholars. We are superficial and incompetent. You Chankis who have put on the Sarkhab, keep it on. We poor people are fine without them. These so-called Henry Kissingers, Agha Shahis. , let the Chankis and caste Brahmins shoot all the arrows of their quivers at the ignorant, our bare chest is present.
Thousands of years have passed in this region, not deep, but there have been surface changes. Civilization, progress and modernity can be seen everywhere. What shocks me, an old European tourist, is the hypocrisy and contradictions of the life here. Something goes and something goes. Lies do not even exist in Europe, but here lie reigns, useless and continuous lies are told here, this approach is the most common in politics.
First of all, this government is a lie. The government that came to power in the name of politics is completely devoid of politics. The technocrats who claim to form the government with the votes of one party are running the technocratic system in front of the apolitical Ahad Cheema. They are helpless, the bureaucracy and the prime minister’s secretariat are under complete control. The prime minister’s son Ahad Cheema has Shahbaz Sharif who is helpless but does not exercise authority, but his son-in-law has become the prime minister. Two or three ministers told me that his Ahad Cheema puts obstacles in every work, nowadays he is looking to replace the Sharif Nafs Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister, Asad Geelani. See if he succeeds in this effort or not? This technocracy is the reason why the speed of the Shehbaz government, which moves like a turtle, is not fast. If the government will not be political, how will it do politics? On the other hand, the big opposition party also lies upon lies. They must admit that they wanted a military coup but failed despite their efforts. They wanted political change through courts and judges. They failed miserably. Hoy, wanted to paralyze the country economically by stopping the aid through overseas and failed in this, now they want to bring down and harass the government on the strength of protests, there is no possibility of any great success except chaos. I, the old European, do not understand why Captain Khan does not come to the peaceful democratic struggle and the politics of alliances. Now fire and water ie Jamaat-e-Islami and Bilawal Bhutto are raising their voice against the oppression of Palestine together, why PTI does not break the idol of prejudice and embrace other parties? (Most of the historical references in the book are Richard Stoneman Taken from Alexander the Great’s book).
